Soft Strip & Internal Clearance
Where do you start when you need a blank slate inside a busy town centre unit? We began with a full soft strip designed to expose the fabric safely and efficiently. That meant removing all plasterboard stud partitions, lifting wooden decking and taking out doors, door frames, ceiling tiles and ceiling tracking. Each element was carefully decommissioned: electrics isolated and labelled, fixtures removed for reuse where possible, and finishes protected where retention was required. Did we control the disruption? Absolutely — containment, negative‑pressure extraction where needed, and scheduled working windows kept noise and dust to a minimum for neighbouring businesses.
Dismantling & Deconstruction — opening space with surgical precision
How do you remove structural elements without affecting the rest of the building? Our dismantling team tackled a block wall that separated the bathrooms and kitchen from the main dining area to create a single, open banking hall. This required methodical planning: temporary works were installed where necessary, structural checks were carried out, and work was sequenced to maintain overall stability. We used mechanical cutting and hand dismantling techniques to control vibration and debris, protecting adjacent finishes and services. The result was a clean, unobstructed space ready for the new layout.
