The project
In May of 2020 we began work on a bespoke design and build project in Sale for a complete garden redesign. Our design team first sketched the proposal with the focus being the rear of the garden which was previously overgrown and unusable. The client wanted to create a new seating area that catches the evening sun and maximises the potential of the garden use.
The design focussed on 3 key areas, an area for a summer house / garden house, an area for seating with a sunken fire pit and a feature pond with retention of existing magnolia tree to create a focal point of the central island.

New drainage and a complete reworking of the ground was required to deliver the vision of set out by the client and the design team. We wanted to create a high quality finish that would enhance the clients quality of outdoor living space for years to come.

Scope
The design team created visual sketches and mood boards to capture the clients vision of a Japanese style garden with clean and simple lines.
Our groundworks team installed a new land drain to remediate the existing flooding issues in the garden. They also installed a foul surface drain and water connection ready to be linked to the new garden house.
