The project
We took on an exciting design and build project for the renovation of Mill Bank House into a a luxury holiday home at Amlwch, Anglesey.

This included various work to the property, such as structural knock throughs to the ground floor kitchen and living spaces. Design and build of the garage conversion including full detailing building control submission with the relevant project management to oversee the construction and signed off inspections.

Once the garage conversion was complete and ready for plumbers and electricians, we moved onto the external garden works. To design and create a garden space with a view for a large patio area with seating and chic pergola to house a hot tub area.

Scope
Structural knock throughs to create open plan kitchen and games rooms, including provision of structural calculations and building control approval of works.
​
Brick up a number of old fireplaces.

Resetting openings for doorways

Carried out a full survey of the existing house, including outdoor space / gardens / driveway and completed a full 3D model of the existing.
​
Completed detailed design drawings of the proposed garage conversion, with submission to building control for sign off.
​
Provided project management of all building control inspections throughout the construction of the conversion.
​
Carried out the design and build of the external patio area including a large Indian stone flagged area with sleeper boarder and decorative white gravel.
